In the title molecule, C18H18F2N2O2S, the two benzene rings, which are oriented in opposite directions with respect to the rigid 2,5-diazabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane core, form a dihedral angle of 17.2 (1)°. Weak intermolecular C—H⋯O, C—H⋯F and C—H⋯N contacts consolidate the crystal packing

Factors Controlling Spatial Variation of Iodine Species in Groundwater of the Datong Basin, Northern China

    Get PDF
AbstractTo better understand the distribution of iodine speciation composition and the controlling factors in groundwater from the Datong basin, hydrochemical studies were conducted. Total iodine concentrations in groundwater ranges from 6.2 to 1380μg/L, with the mean value of 243μg/L. Speciation of iodine in groundwater is mainly controlled by redox potential. Under reducing conditions, iodide is the dominant dissolved species, while in sub-oxic and oxic conditions, iodate is the major species, with a lower proportion of iodide. The evident existence of organic iodine in several groundwater samples may be related to anthropogenic activities

THE CORRELATIONS BETWEEN DYNAMIC WALKING STABILITY AND PERCEPTION-MOTOR ABILITIES OF HUMANS

External perturbations can challenge a person’s walking stability, and people will autonomously make a series of responses to regain the balance of walking, which includes two periods: perturbation-perception (reaction time, RT) and posture-adjustment (motion time, MT). The purpose of this paper was to investigate the correlations between the dynamic walking stability and perception-motor abilities. During the 30 level walking trials preformed by sixteen healthy participants, perturbations were applied at random. The fall probability (FP) during the walking with perturbations was calculated to evaluate the dynamic walking stability of each participant. Furthermore, the ground reaction force (GRF) of each participant during walking with perturbations was recorded and analyzed. The experimental results show that the RT had a significant positive-correlation with FP, while MT had no correlation with FP

Analysis of a Single Hemodialysis on Phosphate Removal of the Internal Fistula Patients by Mathematical and Statistical Methods

Chronic kidney disease related mineral and bone disease (CKD-MBD) is a worldwide challenge in hemodialysis patients. In china, the number of dialysis patients is growing but few data are available about their bone disorders. In the current study, we aimed to evaluate the effect of clinical factors on the serum phosphorus clearance in the 80 maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients. Six clinical factors were identified for their association with the serum phosphorus clearance using the analysis of Spearman’s single linear correlation, including predialysis serum phosphate level, CRR, membrane surface area of the dialyzer, effective blood flow rate, the blood chamber volume, and hematocrit. In an overall multivariate analysis, pre-P, CRR, membrane SA, and Qb were identified as independent risk factors associated with the serum phosphorus clearance. In conclusion, HD could effectively clear serum phosphorus. The analysis of CRR might help to estimate serum phosphorus reduction ratio

Asymmetric Flow Control in a Slab Mold through a New Type of Electromagnetic Field Arrangement

    Get PDF
This research aims to investigate the control effect of asymmetric flow in a slab mold using a novel magnetic field arrangement: freestanding adjustable combination electromagnetic brake (FAC-EMBr). Three scenarios (submerged entry nozzle moves to the narrow face, wide face of the slab mold, and rotates 10°) were studied using three-dimensional numerical simulation. The results show that the magnetic field generated by the FAC-EMBr system can effectively cover three key zones in mold and that the magnetic flux density in the zone cover by a vertical magnetic pole can be adjusted according to the actual flow condition. The FAC-EMBr can effectively improve the asymmetric flow in a mold and near the narrow surface caused by the asymmetric arrangement of the nozzle and can effectively inhibit the occurrence of the flow deviation phenomenon and stabilize the steel/slag interface fluctuation. At the same time, FAC-EMBr has obvious inhibition effects on the surface velocity and can optimize the asymmetric distribution of the surface velocity and the upper reflux velocity caused by the asymmetric arrangement of the nozzle. This study can provide theoretical evidence for the development and utilization of a new electromagnetic brake technology
